Guarantees:

We buy are animals form the best UK and European breeders and dealers our, livestock is cherry picked by us. All livestock sold is feeding, drinking, and as far as we can determine in good health. All animals excluding inverts sold and collected from our shop come with the option of a free vet health check. This is for a vet in Portsmouth only and valid for 7 days for the date of purchase. All livestock sold with full set-ups are guaranteed for 14 days form the date of purchase. All other animals are guaranteed for 7 days. Livestock guarantees do not cover accidental death i.e. if they are put with other animals attacked, dropped, etc. The guarantee entitles you to a replacement or store credit note. If you experience any problems with any livestock purchased from us please call us immediately. Inverts posted out are coved on our mail order website www.southcoastinverts.net. Livestock sent by courier is guaranteed live on arrival and for the following 48 hours only. We will only ship animals that we are 100% happy with. If you experience any problems regarding livestock orders please call immediately. We are not responsible for the cost of returning animals for any reason.

Dry goods sold come with limited manufactures guarantees please keep all packaging and the original till receipt in case of any problems.

We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged or defective.

This does not affect Your Statutory Rights.

Shipping:

We are a UK based company and do not ship outside the UK , this included Southern Ireland , sorry.

We can ship livestock (reptiles, amphibians, tortoises etc) to any mainland UK business address at a cost of £24.95. We can in exceptional circumstances ship to home addresses, please call for details. The reason we only ship to business addresses are:
The courier will only guarantee an AM delivery to business addresses.
The courier needs a signature to deliver. If you are not there to sign for your consignment they will not try to redeliver, the consignment will be returned to us.
In extreme weather condition we reserve the right to delay orders.
Shipping to Northern Ireland cost £68.00. Livestock sent by courier is guaranteed live on arrival and for the following 3 days only.
We will only ship animals that we are 100% happy with. If you experience any problems regarding livestock orders please call immediately.
We are not responsible for the cost of returning animals for any reason.

Sorry we can’t ship mammals these are for collection only.

Vivariums & glass cages can not be sent by courier as we can not guarantee against breakages. Flat-pack vivarium 24” long only can be sent at a cost of £14.00, please call for more information.

Books are sent Royal Mail special delivery for a cost of £6.95 for up-to four books.

We are a real four walled shop open 7 days a week. Our opening times are Monday – Thursday 10am – 5.30 pm Friday 10am – 6pm Saturday 10.30am – 6pm Sunday 10am – 4pm. We are open on bank holidays 12 Midday – 4pm .
