All glass no less than six mm thick to guarantee maximum strength and firmness.

The double doors at the front of the Ferplast vivariums have a metal safety catch and the upper part is suitable for the installing two Spot Covers on the lamps in order to guarantee the protection of your pets from dangerous burns.

It is possible to install an 18 W Exploralight overtank lamp, complete with a reflector dish, a watertight lamp holder and a switch.

All the slots in the tank are smaller than 3 mm in order to prevent the animals from escaping.
Another important feature of the Explora line by Ferplast is the lower glass edge, which allows sand to be contained in the bottom and keeps the terrarium water-tight even in the case of set-ups using water.

Finally, the little feet, which all the Explora terrariums by Ferplast come with, keep the tank lifted a few centimetres off the supporting surface, allowing better ventilation and the use of a heating mat, if need be.
